Every movement begins with a spark—and for DivEra Bots™, that spark came from Desirree Potts, our Founder and Master Bot. An educational leader, technologist, and mom, Desirree built DivEra Bots™ from a personal mission: to make technology learning inclusive, engaging, and accessible to all students — especially those who don’t fit neatly into traditional boxes.

Helper Bots are bachelor-level graduates & current tech majors who bring curiosity, creativity, and hands-on knowledge of emerging tools. Guided by senior educators, they connect with students naturally and make technology approachable, relevant, and fun. The Master Bot
Hi there! I’m Desirree T. Potts, M.S.Ed, an educator, innovator, and unapologetic leader & advocate for the underdog. For more than 16 years, I’ve dedicated my career to making learning meaningful for every child—especially those who’ve been labeled, misunderstood, or underestimated. My passion lies in supporting neurodiverse learners, English Language Learners, and Title I students, helping them build courage through imagination, structure, and heart.
​
I’ve led leaders in large-scale Title-funded initiatives across the state of Florida, mentored middle and high school students throughout Central Florida, and coached educators to combine data and empathy to create lasting, meaningful outcomes for students. I’ve also served on corporate Inclusion Advisory Boards, Diversified Recruitment Teams, and the Women’s Growth Network, while remaining an active member of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education. For me, representation and inclusion aren’t just buzzwords—they’re blueprints for progress.
I believe in education that feels human, flexible, and forward-thinking—and that’s exactly what inspired me to create DivEra Bots™. I’ve built a space where tech and teaching finally speak the same language, bringing together talented educators who love what they do and families who want learning that feels human, not hurried.

The Evolution of an Idea
DivEra Bots™ was born from both my professional journey and my life as a mom. My late husband and I made the decision to homeschool our son, who is AuDHD and highly gifted, after realizing that traditional schooling simply wasn’t designed for how he learns—or who he is. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made.

Now in his third year of high school, he’s still homeschooled and thriving—taking AP courses, diving deep into technology, and exploring his interests with the kind of intellectual spark and independence every parent hopes to see. Watching his growth reaffirmed what I’ve always known: when learning is personalized, flexible, and infused with technology that empowers instead of overwhelms, kids not only learn—they excel.

What I didn’t realize until adulthood was that I’m also ADHD. Suddenly, so many things made sense—especially why I never really liked school. Sitting still, memorizing facts, and learning by the book never inspired me; connecting the dots did. That’s why I understand kids who feel out of sync with traditional classrooms—I’ve been one of them.

That connection has shaped how I teach, lead, and curate learning experiences. My mission is helping students who think differently discover their rhythm, their love of discovery, and their potential. Whether it’s a shy learner finally speaking up in a small group or a student mastering a skill they once thought was impossible, those moments fuel everything I do.

My son's journey, and students like him, are the heartbeat behind DivEra Bots™. We don’t chase perfection here—we cultivate progress. We don’t just teach content—we build confidence. And we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all learning—because greatness never comes in one shape.
